  • Canonical's Snappy Now Supports Latest Nvidia Drivers on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS — Snapd 2.32.2 is now available to download and should be coming soon to the stable software repositories of your favorite, Snappy-enabled GNU/Linux distribution. What's exciting about this release is that it enables Snappy the use Nvidia's most recent proprietary graphics drivers in Snap apps on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS (Bionic Beaver) and similar operating systems.
  • lsof to graphviz — A small utility to convert Unix lsof output to a graph showing FIFO and UNIX interprocess communication.
  • Old CPUs losing support in Linux, cutting size by 500,000 lines of code — The architectures which will become deprecated are Blackfin, CRIS, FRV, M32R, Metag, MN10300, Score and Tile. Thus, instead of the EU’s approach of mainly regulating how personal data may be used (in its General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR), I propose a law to stop systems from collecting personal data.
